Public-benefit status

Fundaţia Teatrul Tineretului din Bucureşti is a non-profit foundation registered in Romania under NRN 984/B/1995, with its registered seat at Strada Berăriei FN, 550173 Sibiu, Romania. The foundation distributes no profit; all income is applied to the cultural and educational purposes set out in its statute.

Governance

• The board meets quarterly and approves the budget, the programmes and the annual report.
• Board members receive no remuneration for their mandate.
• Conflicts of interest are declared in writing and recorded in the minutes.
• A volunteer treasurer and an external licensed accountant prepare the financial statements.

Financial reporting

We publish an annual activity report and a summary financial statement, available on request by email. Major donations and grants are reported separately, naming the funder and the use of funds.

Non-discrimination policy

The foundation does not discriminate against any beneficiary, volunteer, employee or collaborator on grounds of race, ethnicity, nationality, religion, gender, gender identity, sexual orientation, disability, age, marital status, socio-economic situation or political opinion. Workshop participation is open, free of charge, and never selected on financial grounds.

Child safeguarding

Every mentor working with minors signs the child safeguarding policy and provides a criminal record certificate. Any concern sent to the foundation's email address is addressed within 48 hours.
