About AQCA
The Armoury Quadrangle Civic Association (AQCA) is a non-profit
organization that was formed in 1995 by property owners and residents of
downtown Springfield who wanted to have an organized voice in the City.
AQCA’s main goal is to preserve and improve the character of the
Armoury Quadrangle/Metro Center neighborhood.
Residents and businesses are asked to support our activities through
donations of any amount. AQCA also receives funding from the City of
Springfield Office of Housing each year. This is federal grant money
(through the Community Development Block Grants program) to help
AQCA meet its goals and objectives.
No regular meetings are being held until fall. Please check the website for meeting/event details, including an August City Councilor candidates forum.

fines de lucro formada en 1995 por residentes del centro de Springfield
que querían tener una voz organizada en la ciudad.
El objetivo principal de AQCA es preservar y mejorar el carácter del
vecindario Armory Quadrangle/Metro Center.

interest to downtown residents.
There are no paid staffers at AQCA. All work is done by volunteer
members who want to work together for the benefit of our
neighborhood.

downtown neighbors and learn how to get involved.
