We are the Springfield Metro Center neighborhood association—from the riverfront (west) to STCC (east), and from I-291 (north) to Temple Street (south). We've been around since 1995 and have been instrumental in improving our neighborhood.
- AQCA regularly meets with downtown business owners (current and potential) to discuss neighborhood concerns & licensing.
- AQCA holds forums for local election candidates.
- AQCA organizes neighborhood cleanups.
- AQCA hosts activities with Springfield Downtown, Springfield Cultural Partnership, Springfield Museums, Spirit of Springfield, Springfield Preservation Trust.
- AQCA promotes activities in our neighborhood parks.
We are residents intent on realizing our community’s potential. AQCA is one of 21 neighborhood councils officially tasked and supported by the city to advocate on behalf of citizens.
Please join us by contributing your ideas and dreams, skills and talents, time and energy to the cause. Come to our monthly meetings, join our committees, and help do the work that needs to be done.
